Any time we lose a fellow blader a peice gets torn from the heart of the Inline world, A tear is shed across the world, and a family of hundreds of thousands bands together to recognize the deceased. Today we celebrate the life of Jay Jude.
Jay was strong willed and super talented. Every time I saw him he progress his skating and was always motivated. Although I knew him for a short time the memory of his life will be everlasting.

Dozens of car loads of rollerbladers headed up to Woodward West for the first contest of the 2010Amateur Inline League season. The stage was set, and kids antsy and anxious after a long winter were poised to get their blade on. And blade they did. Rollerbladers came from as far away as Utah, Brazil, and Venezuala, and of course all over California, for the chance to compete in the AIL and skate the highly-regarded Hangar 18 park at Woodward West. Snow fell outside as the action inside began to heat up.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the first AIL of 2010. 100 competitors came out to skate and compete at Woodward West. The camaraderie was amazing and the level of skating was outstanding. Huge Tricks were being laid down everywhere.We would also like to acknowledge our younger skaters who came out & skated hard.
